The Mayor of Newbury is inviting the town’s oldest residents to join him for a Festive Afternoon Tea Party.

On Sunday 17 November Newbury Town Council are asking the community to come along and help to plant 800 spring bulbs at River Walk, Trout Walk and Orchardene.

The bulbs will be traditional native spring flowers, including daffodils, wild garlic and crocuses.

Over the last two weeks local primary and secondary schools in Newbury have been learning about the role of Newbury Town Council and its Councillors.

Newbury Town Council will be carrying out tree ‘pollarding’ in Victoria Park in January 2025.

The Remembrance Sunday Parade & Service will be held in Newbury on Sunday 10 November 2024.
