NEWBURY TOWN COUNCIL TO APPLY FOR LOAN FROM THE PUBLIC WORKS LOAN BOARD
At the meeting of the Full Council on the 31st of January 2022, Newbury Town Council has resolved to seek the approval of the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities to apply for a Public Works Loan Board loan of up to £300,000 towards the construction of the new Community café in Victoria Park.
The loan term would be 25 years and the annual loan repayments would come to around £15,688.42 – it is not intended to increase the Council Tax precept for the purpose of the loan repayments.
