NEWBURY TOWN COUNCIL (CLAY HILL WARD) ELECTION TO BE HELD 6 MAY 2021
The By-Election for the Clay Hill Ward member for Newbury Town Council (1 seat) is to be held on 6 May 2021. West Berkshire does not have a full District Council election this year.
Polling Stations will be in place on 6 May and will be subject to stringent Government Covid safety measures to ensure people can vote safely.
However, the Council is aware that many people will prefer to vote by post, particularly if they are vulnerable or shielding. Applications for postal votes must be received at West Berkshire Council’s Market Street office in Newbury by 5pm on Tuesday 20 April.
We’d also like to remind residents that they need to register at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote if they haven’t already done so, or if they have recently moved to the district, so that they are able to vote.
Residents can ensure that their electoral details are up to date by emailing vote@westberks.gov.uk
