MAYOR OF NEWBURY’S QUIZ & CURRY NIGHT!

Cllr Gary Norman, Mayor of Newbury, is inviting teams of up to 6 people to put their knowledge to the test by taking part in a ‘Mayor’s Quiz & Curry Night’ on Friday 23rd September at The Chequers Hotel in Newbury starting at 7pm.

The event will raise funds for the Mayor’s Benevolent Fund, which helps those in financial need within our local community through grant funding.

Quiz entry is just £15 per person, proceeds will go towards the Mayor’s Benevolent Fund, and you will also receive either a chicken or vegetable curry for dinner cooked by the chefs at The Chequers Hotel.

The Mayor of Newbury, Cllr Gary Norman, said, “I’m really looking forward to this event, which should be a lot of fun. It will be an entertaining evening which will be all the better for raising money for charity. I would like to thank The Chequers Hotel for hosting this event for us. I encourage as many as possible to come and take part. How about getting a group of friends or colleagues together for a night out whilst raising money for this great cause?”
