The Mayor of Newbury is delighted to announce his first fundraising event of the municipal year for his chosen charity. On Friday 28th June, the Mayor will be hosting a Bingo Night at the Town Hall from 7pm raising funds for West Berks Foodbank.
Newbury Town Council held a Family Day in Victoria Park on Sunday 19 May and there was a huge turn out of people who came along to enjoy the free activities in the sunshine with the Mayor of Newbury, Cllr Andy Moore kicking off the fun at noon.
Cllr Andy Moore OBE was elected as Mayor of Newbury for the municipal year 2024/25 at the Town Council’s annual Mayor Making ceremony on Sunday 12th May 2024. Cllr David Harman was elected to support him in the role of Deputy Mayor.
