Newbury Town Hall is throwing open its doors to the public on Saturday 9 September as part of this year’s Heritage Open Days Festival.

The Town Council has renewed its agreement with Berkshire Youth for the provision of detached youth work in Newbury.

Newbury Town Council will be fighting against the developers appealing for planning permission for high rise development at The Kennet Centre.

Victoria Park has once again been awarded ‘Green Flag’ status for 2023/24, recognised by the Green Flag Award Scheme as one of the very best in the world. 

We are very proud to announce that the Green Flag Award has also been awarded to City Recreation Ground.

As part of Visit Newbury’s Festival of the Moon, the Town Hall will be hosting talks from the Average Scientist (TAS) on Tuesday 29 August, about moon formation theories, the ‘First Woman’ and philosophical exploration.

At 5pm on Wednesday 12 July, members of the community of Ukrainians who have come to stay in Newbury under the Government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme, unveiled a temporary exhibit on the wall of Newbury Town Hall in the Market Place.

The Newbury Pride Parade 2023 will take place on Saturday 24 June kicking off at Victoria Park at 1pm and heading through Parkway Shopping to the Market Place.
