VICTORIA PARK TO HOST OUTDOOR EVENTS PROGRAM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CORN EXCHANGE, NEWBURY
Newbury Town Council are pleased to be working with the Corn Exchange to bring outdoor events, that would usually be held indoors, to Victoria Park throughout the summer.
The Corn Exchange are taking their activities outside with a full program of experiences available in Victoria Park and other venues in Newbury, which will include music, dance, early years music sessions, fine art and pottery, dance classes and summer holiday activities.
Cllr Martin Colston, Leader of the Council said, “We are pleased to be able to work in partnership with the Corn Exchange to enable these events to take place outdoors safely in our beautiful Victoria Park. We are also excited that our Brass & Silver Bands program will be able to start again from Sunday 27 June and we will be holding our Victoria Park Family Day on Sunday 11 July”.
Katy Griffiths, Corn Exchange Director said, “We are hugely grateful for the support of all our host venues this summer, which includes Newbury Town Council for the use of Victoria Park. The Out of Doors Festival means we can share a huge range of events and creative activities for all ages with everyone in our local community across the Newbury area.”
