Newbury Town Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Tobias Miles-Mallowan (Toby) as its next CEO, succeeding Hugh Peacocke, who stepped down at the end of December after 7 years of dedicated service.

Toby brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to public service in this important role. As CEO, Toby will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient functioning of local services within the town and as a key point of contact for the community and other stakeholders.

Cllr Gary Norman, Leader of the Council said, “I’m delighted to welcome Toby to Newbury Town Council to take on the vital role of CEO. He brings valuable experience to the position as well as a personal commitment to the Newbury community. I’m looking forward to working with him as we continue to deliver and improve valuable local services.”

Toby, the Town Council’s new CEO, said, “As a resident of Newbury Town, I’m very excited to play my role in making Newbury a vibrant and thriving community.”
