MAYORS FESTIVE AFTERNOON TEA PARTY
Following on the success of last year’s Festive Afternoon Tea Party event, the Mayor of Newbury, Cllr Gary Norman, is inviting the town’s oldest residents to join him and have the opportunity to enjoy another Afternoon Tea.
Cllr Gary Norman said, “I’m very excited to be hosting this event following the success of last year’s. With the ‘Mayor’s Drive & Tea Party’ no longer taking place, it’s important to me that we can offer an alternative event which will be just as much, or even more fun!”.
The tea party will take place on Tuesday 13th December from 2pm in Newbury Baptist Church Hall. Guests will be served an afternoon tea box with sandwiches, scones and sweet treats along with a cup of tea and a festive tipple.
Places for this event are limited to ticketed entry, therefore booking is essential which will be on a first come, first served basis. Please note that guests should be over the age of 75 years and will be required to arrange their own transport to and from the church hall.
To reserve your place, contact the Mayor’s Office supplying your name, date of birth, postal address along with any dietary requirements.
Tickets will be posted to your address which will confirm your reservation.
