There's Still Time to Enter
Newbury In Bloom 2019

The ‘Newbury in Bloom 2019’ campaign is now well underway with a number of entries received at the Town Hall already. After the huge success of the campaign in 2018 we are looking forward to another successful year. The campaign features 2 extra categories this time: ‘Canal Boat Floral Display’ and ‘Best Street’.  How about getting together with your neighbours to make your street the most eye catching in Newbury!

We are encouraging community groups, schools and all members of the community to take part to help make Newbury ‘bloom’ during the summer months.

The 9 categories for the Newbury in Bloom campaign for 2019 are:

  • School Garden
  • Place of Worship Garden
  • Public House/Restaurant/Small Business
  • Allotment
  • Almshouses
  • Community Projects
  • Public Buildings
  • Street
  • Canal Boat Floral Display

The campaign aims to improve the appearance of our town and environment and makeNewbury a greener, cleaner and more pleasant place to live together with promoting horticultural excellence.
