If you are involved with an organisation or charity that benefits the residents of Newbury, don’t miss your chance to apply for grant funding for a special project or core costs. This year the amount of grant funding has been increased from £10,000 to £25,000 – with £10,000 of this sum specifically for projects involving young people.
To apply you must register with The Good Exchange www.thegoodexchange.com and complete the grant application process by 31 May 2018. All applications for funding that have been completed on the Good Exchange website between 1 June 2017 and 31 May 2018, which fulfil the Town Council’s criteria, will be considered. Applicants may be invited to give a short presentation of their application at a meeting of the Grant Sub-Committee on 27 June 2018.
The total grant fund available is £25,000, successful eligible applications will be match funded by The Good Exchange.Last year’s grants were awarded to 14 different local organisations including £1,250 to Friends of St Nicolas C of E Junior School toward their multi-use games area, £500 to Newbury YMCA for football projects and £500 for the Willow Close Residents art group.
