The Town Council’s public consultation on the proposal to raise a loan of up to £300,000 for a new community café closes this week, on 31 July.

Newbury Town Council’s annual Mayor Making ceremony took place on Sunday 27^th June.  

The event celebrated the election of the new Mayor & Deputy Mayor in front of local dignitaries, organisations and their friends and family. 

Newbury Town Council has awarded a total of £13,395 to 19 local charities to support them in their work for the community in Newbury.

The Town Council expects to receive planning permission shortly for the long-awaited Community Café in Victoria Park. 

The Neighbourhood Watch are holding a series of free webinars over the month on July to help people learn more about scams, the psychology behind scams, prevention, and how a fraud case is investigated.
